With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tom Simonson of Apple Creek, Ohio, born in Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on June 8, 2020 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Simonson and Stella Simonson (Stillman). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Simonson; his son Bill Smith (Erica) of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Hallee, Blake and Cameron Smith; his son Brent Smith (Holly) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Cooper and Bodie Smith; his brother Bob Simonson of Ashland; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Tieche (Greg) of Wooster, Gerald Maibach of Toledo and Ivan Maibach of Mansfield; and his nieces and nephews, Brooke Banks (Matt), Brett Simonson (Lauren), Gerri Galliher, Kelly Barker (Jacky), Sarah Bender (Andrew), Rachel Middleton (Caleb), Ruth Maibach (Eric), Abby Rutt (Brandon), Becca Steiner (Nate), Mary Tieche, Anna Zimmerman (David), Leah Tieche, Adam Maibach, Amelia Maibach, Kristie Maibach and Ryan Maibach (Brandilyn).
