She was predeceased by: her parents, C. T. and Irene Swinehart (Harrison); her son Michael Dale Burkholder; her grandson Kyle Michael Burkholder; and her siblings, Myron Swinehart, Jeanne Buchwalter and Vida Hofacre.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Geiser (Robert) of Apple Creek and Brian Martin Burkholder (Linda) of Harrisonburg; her daughter-in-law Becky Burkholder of West Salem; and her grandchildren, Jessika Walton (Aaron), Ben Geiser, Matthew Geiser, Travis Wyatt (Bethany), Jana Carozza (Steven), Jeff Burkholder (Neely), Sydney Maldonado and Lane Burkholder.
