We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2023, at the age of 98, Opal J. Emerson of Apple Creek, Ohio, born in Wooster, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Opal J. Emerson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonas Mowrer and Merriell Lichty Mowrer; her husband Kenneth Emerson; her granddaughter Kim Rosner; and her siblings, Dortha Denman, Lucille Bowman and Marvin Mowrer.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Fairbourn of Apple Creek, Rhonda Rosner of Wooster, Darrell Emerson (Patricia) of Wooster, Kenneth Emerson (Paz) of Findley, Leora Sepe of Apple Creek, Cletus Emerson (Lisa) of Apple Creek and Wendy Julien (Darin) of Wooster. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
