With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gerry Buss of Apple Creek, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Deetz and Mary Deetz (Ulli); her husband Weldon Buss; and her sisters, Margaret Myers and Betty Ann Scheufler.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Mathys (Fred) of Wooster, Steve Buss of Apple Creek and Lori Zody (Mark) of Apple Creek; her grandchildren, Annie Gibson (Michael), Brady Mathys (Kendra), Shannon Hutto (Shawn), Brandon Klintworth (Allison), Cody Klintworth (Morgan), Angie Oliver, Jamie Brawley (Cynthia), Nikki Zody (Ryan) and Walker Zody; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Owen, Jarred, Cameron, Zoe, Lincoln, Macy, Lily, Piper, Cearra and Dakotah; and her sister-in-law Ann Buss of Apple Creek. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's United Church of Christ (68 W Main St, Apple Creek, OH 44606). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
