He is survived by: his son Herman (Edna Carter Morris); his wife Carol M. Messner; his daughters, Cathleen Slabaugh (Duane) of Stockbridge, GA and Candy Mori (Jeffrey) of Dalton; his grandchildren, Isaac, Conner, Nya Mori, Elizabeth Anderson, Ashley Baxter and Tyler Slabaugh; and his siblings, Ray Carter, Phyllis Holmes and Randal Morris.
