He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman D. Troyer and Anna D. Troyer (Yoder); and his siblings, Daniel, Mary Miller and Fannie Hershberger.
He is survived by: his spouse Verba Miller; his children, Freeman Troyer (Julie) of Bridgewater, VA and Mary Schlabach (Vernon) of Apple Creek; his grandchildren, Angela Troyer of Winston-Salem, NC, Jason Schlabach (Katrina) of Los Angeles, CA and Thad Schlabach of Savannah, GA; his great grandchild Oliver Schlabach of Los Angeles, CA; and his sister Verna Yoder (Eli) of Millersburg.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joni Hostetler Residence (11474 Harrison Rd, Apple Creek, OH 44606). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
