She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Richards and Aurelia Richards (Nowacki); her children, Matthew Lucas, Ronald Van Atta, Jr. and Susan Bernard; and her siblings, Jerry, Ron Richards, Robin Wolford and Terry Whitacre.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Van Atta, Sr.; her children, Denise Reeb (Eric), Amanda Perkins (David), Bradley Lucas (Molly), Lisa Bragg (Doug) and AJ Krick; and her sister Karen Kamaka. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
