With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Atchley (Antwerp, Ohio), who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Marlene departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marlene. Though Marlene may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Wehrly and Pearl Wehrly (Fry); and her daughter Jolene Beerbower (James) of Woodburn. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Atchley; and her children, Larry Atchley (Deb) of Cecil, OH, David Atchley (Paula) of Woodburn and Julie Mason of Woodburn. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dooley Funeral Home (202 E River St, Antwerp, OH 45813). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
