She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Lichty (Hallock) and Robert Lichty; her husband Gene Handy; her daughter Marcia Helms (Phil); and her brother Myron "Bud" Lichty (Betty).
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Brown (Michael), Ava Kennedy (Hazen) and Linda Kennedy (Roland "Pudge"); and her grandchildren, Caren Miglin (Eric), Craig Brown (Kristi), Amy Helf (Michael), Christa Brubaker (Chad), Cale Brown (Jaime), Alison Nehls (Alex), Sarah McCorkle (Dale), Judd Helms and Greta Kosch (Jeremy). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
