He was predeceased by: his sister Irene Koesters; and his grandson Grant Koesters. He is survived by: his wife Bonita L. Koesters (Abels); his children, Jill, Travis Beam, Tony, Emily Koesters and Ken Koesters; his grandchildren, Trevor Beam, Peyton Beam, Wyatt Beam, Mae Koesters and Joseph Koesters; and his siblings, Virginia (Herbert Nieport), Norbert (Mary Lou Koesters), Paul (Jeanne Koesters), Joseph (Vera Koesters), Jane (Donald Prenger), Rose (Gary Thieman), Carl (Cathy Koesters), Teresa (Steve Wacker), Roger (Nancy Koesters), Connie (Dean Fruchey) and Marge (Gordon Luedeke). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.
