He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Ray and Beaulah Ray (Hecker); and his wife Judith Anne Ray. He is survived by: his children, Vickie Adams (Charles) of Painter Creek, Dixie Zeiler (Clint) of Ansonia, Dean Ray (Virginia) of Lexington, KY., Kirk Ray and Lora Miller of Mobile; his grandchildren, Ashley (Dustin), Jessica (De'Shawn), Erika (Chase), Curry (Mikayla), Katelyn, Meaghann (Daniel), Alyssa, Abigayle, Ethan, Zoey, Sasha and Shawn; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Kenlee, Kelsie, Bentley and Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions be given to Cincinnati Children's Medical Center.
