He was predeceased by: his father George J. Wampler. He is survived by: his son Clay B. D. Chapman of Big Lake, Alaska; and his siblings, Jeff Wampler of Ansonia, Lacinda J. (Wampler), Brad Hiestand of Rossburg, Greg D., Shirley Wampler of Ansonia and Rory L. Wampler of Ansonia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
