Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jerry L Batten Sr. of Ansonia, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 83, on June 6, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel Batten and Lucy Batten Sr. (Goodpaster); his brothers, John Batten and Danny Batten; and his stepdaughter Tracy Bashore.

He is survived by : his children, Joe (Denise Bashore), Doug (Tracy Bashore), Anita Best of Ansonia, Jerry L. Batten Jr. of Versailles, Chris Batten of Versailles and Janie (Randy Hart); and his sisters-in-law, Beverly Batten of Greenville and Linda Batten of Greenville. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home (1499 N Broadway St, Greenville, OH 45331). A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
