Shaun Doheney wrote a sympathy message

“Darrin and I served together in the Marine Corps. Specifically, we went to “Trac School” together in 1999. The Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV) community is small and while we never served together in the same command after Trac School, Darrin and I crossed paths many times throughout our careers and were always eager to catch up. While he is gone, he will never be forgotten, as I hope is evidenced by these pictures from nearly 21 years ago. With deepest sympathies for your loss, Shaun.”
