He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis DeCant and Ethel DeCant; his wife Anna Mae DeCant; his children, Susan Maglione and Steven DeCant; and his sister Francis Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Johnson, Richard DeCant, Tanya Purcell and Michele DeCant; his niece Sandy Hilding (Bob); and his brother Norman DeCant. He is also survived by other nephews and nieces; grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
