He was predeceased by: his parents, George Engel and Loretta Engel (Price); his wife Betty J. (Bates); his daughter Deborah C. Lewis; and his siblings, Gladys Allen, George, Edward and Harry Engel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Erica D. Engel of Dorset, OH and Nancy R. Gruskiewicz of Kinsman; his son-in-law Carl Lewis of Orwell, OH; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Moisio, Sasha Moisio, Savannah Lewis, Austin and Darrin Gruskiewicz. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
