He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell H. Dewey and Inez N. Dewey (Frick); his daughter Gwynne E. Dewey; and his siblings, Raymond L. Dewey and Linda Michalski.
He is survived by: his wife Karen M. Dewey (Kapis); his children, Alison Moore (Craig) of Athens, Ohio, Nicholas Dewey (Lauren) of Stoneleigh and Curtis Dewey of Denmark, Ohio; his grandsons, Jaxon and Easton Moore; his siblings, Sandie Bittner (Jim Fox), Kathy Bennett, Cheryl Helwig (Tommy) and Ronald Dewey (Dave Brown); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Thomas, Ronald Kapis and John Bleshoy. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
