He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Newton and Dolores Mizner Newton; his siblings, Kathy Patton, Rebecca and Todd; and his niece Heather Smoot.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Coller Newton; his children, Dawn Hayes (Jay) of Girard, Kimberly Newton of Sharpsville, Marissa Ulm (Tate) of Farmington, Illinois, Damien Ward (Tina) of Pocomoke and Devyn Newton (Jessica Yeager) of Cortland; and his brother Daniel Newton (Marylouise) of Hartford. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
