He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard "Earl" and Froma Kohler (Kohler); and his siblings, Ireina Simmons, Gerald and Roger Kohler.
He is survived by: his wife Nora J. Crago; his stepson Andy J. Kohler of Kilgore; his sons, James D. and John A. Kohler; his granddaughter Andrea L. Kohler (Chuck Knox) of Carrollton; his great grandchild Lenny; and his grandsons, Jim and John.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made to Community Hospice or the Carroll County Visiting Nurses.
