He was predeceased by: his daughter Barbara Fuller; his grandchildren, Erin Wohlever and PJ Hamilton; his brother Lawrence J. Wohlever; and his parents, Paul William and Julia Wohlever.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Wohlever; his children, Richard Wohlever of Lorain, Thomas "Thom" Wohlever of Amherst, Diane Hamilton (Patrick) of Amherst, Ann Walters (Michael) of Amherst and Lisa O'Connor (Chuck) of Collins; his grandchildren, Jennifer Drop (Brian), Trisha Wohlever, Michael Hamilton and Sarah Simmons Thomas Wohlever (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Katelyn Drop, Jason Drop and Aria Barbera; and his brother Paul "Dave" Wohlever Wohlever (Sue) of Amherst.
