It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Van Niel of Amherst, Ohio, who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Leonard VanNiel, Robert VanNiel and Joan Fitch; and his parents, Edwin VanNiel and Lucy Anna VanNiel.

He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline; his children, Sherry Szucs (Robert), Shelly Zipp (Frank) and Edward VanNiel (Sharon); his grandchildren, Miranda Szink (Justin), Robert Szucs, Nikki Trhlin (Andy), Ricky Shehan, Olivia VanNiel and Grace VanNiel; his great grandchildren, Jaclyn Szink, Rory Szink and Blaise Trhlin; and his siblings, Regina Dalzel, Marilyn Lamprecht, Tammy Uszak and Jonathan Uszak (Sue).
