The memory of Wanda Mae Kelling of Amherst, Ohio, born in Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Adolph "Al" Kelling; her siblings, Norma Buttermore Clark, Bill Buttermore, Elmer Jaycox and Ralph Jaycox; her parents, Irving Jaycox and Mildred Buttermore; her son-in-law Harry Trigalet; her grandson Seth Kelling; and her niece Sue Koch Buzas.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Kelling Trigalet, Rick (Shelli Kelling), Sandy Kelling Wells and Jim Kelling; her grandchildren, Brian Trigalet, Kevin Trigalet, Justin Trigalet (Jordan), Rebecca Dalton (Edward), Tyler Kelling (Megan), Garrett Kelling (Rhema), Chad Hornak, Alison Church (Chris), Nathan Kelling (Jaime) and Marie Kelling; her sister Carol Koch; and her siblings-in-law, Chester Kelling, Nancy Buttermore and Sharon Jaycox. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (200 St Joseph Dr, Amherst, OH 44001).
