He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Krieg and Ruth Ann Krieg; and his birth mother Clara Poole. He is survived by: his wife Carol Marie Krieg; his children, Andrew Joseph Krieg (Candis) of Vermilion, Emily Arin Krieg of Amherst and Brianna Rae Krieg of Amherst; his granddaughter Andelynn Krieg; and his siblings, Michael J. Marquardt (Tami) of Elyria, Denise M. Shaffstall (Dan) of Elyria, Cynthia L. Zapotosky (Dave) of Toledo, Bambi L. Ehasz (Mike), Robin E. Marquardt (Denise) and Harold E. Marquardt, Jr. (Pam).

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
