Sylvia Lois Campbell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Lois Campbell (Amherst, Ohio), born in Ozone, Tennessee, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Humphrey Campbell; her son Darrell Campbell; her siblings, Charlie Manning and Nancy Sturgill; and her parents, Charles Manning and Lois Manning.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Campbell of LaGrange, Pam Garcia of Geneva, Gayle Odom of Richmond Heights, Michael Campbell of Castalia and Seth Campbell of Cleveland; and her siblings, Robert Manning of Amherst, Patricia Hale of Virginia, Margie Manning of Columbus and Trudy Garcia of Oregon. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Big Brothers Big Sisters Association, 1270 Abbe Road North, Elyria, OH 44035.
