He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pierce and Rita Pierce; his brother-in-law John Edward Snell; and his father-in-law Pedro Rodriguez. He is survived by: his wife Marisol Pierce of Elyria; his stepdaughters, Rachel Astornio-Davis (Jason) of North Royalton and Michele Astorino of Elyria; his grandson Jhett Stump; his siblings, Robert Pierce (Mary) of Vermilion, Marty Pierce of Vermilion, Sue Snell of Vermilion, LouAnn Eberle of Vermilion, Lynne Greene of Vermilion and Denise Pierce; his mother-in-law Gloria Rodriguez; and his siblings-in-law, Pedro Rivera (Elsie), Laura Rivera and Nancy Kingsboro of Lorain. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
