He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce M. Spratt; his grandson Leo Puhaly; and his parents, John Robert and Cora Evelyn Spratt. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Spratt of Vermilion, Lisa Ford (Ronald) of Florida and Brenda Spratt-Mercado (Jaime) of Florida; his grandsons, Steven Puhaly, Bronson and Mason Ford; and his siblings, Richard P. Spratt of Guernsey County, Ohio. and Susan Wehr of Guernsey County, Ohio..

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society; PO Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033 or New Life Hospice 3700 Kolbe Road, Lorain, OH 44053.
