Norvel Belt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norvel Belt of Amherst, Ohio, born in Farmington, West Virginia, who passed away on November 24, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Alfred and Mabel Belt; and his sisters, Jessie Anderson and Phyllis McCann. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Richard Belt and Valrie Rice of Millersburg, OH; and his siblings, Alma Jean Cothran, Geneva Jo Opyoke, Mabel Louise Sturgeon, Beverly Sturgeon, Athena Sturgeon and George Allen Belt (Tiny). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Beacon Baptist Church; 3407 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, OH 44052.
