She is survived by: her children, Joseph Schmittle Jr. (Paula) of Houston, TX, Joanne Lilly (Dallas) of Gas City, IN, Michael Schmittle (Nancy Guastella) of Vermilion, Steven Schmittle (Erica) of Amherst and Nicholas Schmittle of Ft. Wayne, IN. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
