It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meda R. Kovacik of Amherst, Ohio, born in Glencoe, Ohio, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold "Popeye" Carlon and Mabel Shepherd Carlon; her husband George Kovacik; her siblings, Ronald Carlon (Beulah) and Patricia Rose; and her brother-in-law Donald Jochims.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Ed Kovacik (Roxann) of Amherst and Kathy Miser of Jewett; her grandchildren, Brandon Miser, Kaci Wright (Steve) and Rev. Mikayla Kovacik Doepker (Rob); her great grandchildren, Kadence, Brantley Wright, Madyson, Jaxon and Preston Miser; and her sister Karen Jochims of Hopedale.
