Searles (Amherst, Ohio), born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Lord; her stepfather Robert Lord; her father William Hiltner; her brother William Hiltner; her great grandchild Marc Stone; and her stepdaughter Lisa Searles.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Fetzer (Nicholas), Douglas Gibson (Sandy), Kelly Pappas (Pete), Edward Gibson (Araceli) and Patrick Gibson (Cindy); and her stepdaughter Laurie Searles (David Searles).
A wake was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Toft Funeral Home, Wakeman Chapel (16 Cooper St, Wakeman, OH 44889). Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Kipton Community Church (511 Church St, Amherst, OH 44049). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
