She was predeceased by: her siblings, John Jackson of Houston, Marjorie Jackson Kinney of East Petersburg and Benjamin Jackson of Naples; and her brother-in-law David Hicks of Thorton, Colorado.. She is survived by: her sons, Donald Fredrick Hicks (Leigh) of Coldwater, Michigan and Steven Hunter Hicks (Gwyn) of Falls Church, Virginia; her grandchildren, Katherine, Benjamin, Emily, Joseph, Maggie, Hunter and Abigail; and also Frederick Goodhue Hicks. She is also survived by several nephews and great nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to St. John's Episcopal Church or the Mt. Pleasant Public Schools Education Foundation.
