Mabel Payne Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mabel Payne of Amherst, Ohio, born in Crossville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Willie "Bill" Payne; her brothers, Frank, Ridley and Jess; and her parents, Mark Godfrey and Mattie Godfrey.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Abels (Jack) of Eva, AL, Marlene Rudd (Buddy) of Ashland, VA and Selina McKee (Bob) of Barnesville, GA. She is also survived by six grandchildren;and 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the National Scoliosis Foundation, 5 Cabot Pl #5, Stoughton, MA 02072.
