He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Veronica Austin (Zuckerman); his sister Phyllis Kelch; and his parents, John Kellis and Mildred Austin (Morringiello). He is survived by: his daughters, Evelyn Batzel Zahnke (Dale) of Amherst and Michele Gibbons. He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
