It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thorne Jr. of Amherst, Ohio, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille; and his parents, John Thorne, and Elva Thorne, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Thorne of Ft. Collins, CO, Devin L. Thorne (Dawn) of Lorain, Dean Thorne of Amherst and Denia Gaspar (Jerry) of Brook Park; and his grandchildren, Kelli Schiren (Thomas), Amanda Hanson (Josh), Danya Thorne, Megan Rives (Josh), Sam Thorne, Devona Thorne (Erica), Danei Ross (Jason), Michael Gaspar (Mackie), Darek Richard and Stephanie Gaspar. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
