He was predeceased by: his parents, Donn C. Riegel and Elia D. Riegel. He is survived by: his brothers, Robert (Laura) and Richard Riegel; and his godparents, Donna Scalzitti and Dominic Orlando. He is also survived by many cousins, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter Parish (3655 Oberlin Ave, Lorain, OH 44053). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations designated in John's name be made to St. Peter Parish, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, OH 44053.
