He was predeceased by: his siblings, Tarvin Porter II, Donna Sue Schaefer and Joan Seiders; and his parents, Tarvin Porter and Mary Beatrice Porter.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his stepdaughter Jennifer Bullion of Lakewood; and his granddaughter Aurora Johnson. He is also survived by one nephew and four nieces.
