He was predeceased by: his wife Janis Cooper; and his parents, John Cooper and Maggie Belle Cooper. He is survived by: his sons, Jim Cooper (Joyce) of Amherst, John Cooper (Audrey) of Bradenton, FL and Jay Cooper (Tonia) of South Carolina; his grandsons, Jim Jr. (Heidi), Mark (Lynn) and Jeremy; his stepgranddaughter Megan; his great grandchildren, Javan, Carter, Saydie, Elijah, Bella and Lola; his son Jeffery Cooper; his grandson David Cooper; his siblings, Isabelle Lawson, Cora Lee Robinson, Berla Mae Norris, Clyde and John Adrian Cooper; and his daughter-in-law Shirlee Cooper.
