He is survived by: his wife Michelle Mahar; his children, Mark Mahar (Kathy), Brian Mahar (Kelly) and Kimberly Horwedel (Roger) of South Amherst; and his sister Judy Tangeman of Hanahan. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
