He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smith and Maxine Smith. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smith of Amherst; his daughters, Amanda Smith (Bryan) of Houston, TX and Clarissa Smith of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Grant, Addison and Leif; and his brother Alan Smith.
