Goldie May Schuller Obituary

Goldie May Schuller (nee: Brown), 87 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Avon Oaks, Nursing Home, following a full and meaningful life.

She was born October 11, 1936, in Somerset, Kentucky. She graduated from Amherst High School with the class of 1954. In 1963, she married the love of her life Richard and the two of them lived in Amherst for the remainder of their days. Richard worked faithfully at Nordson and Goldie worked as a jeweler for Harts Jewelry. She was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Amherst and a regular attender there. May she now rest in peace in the arms of her Savior.

Survivors include her niece, Deborah Matthews of Monroe, GA and Anita Shorthill of Cheney, Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, Richard "Dick" Franklin Schuller on October 17, 2004; her brother, Avery Brown and her parents, Lucian and Lutie Brown (nee: Jones).

Graveside services will be held Monday, September 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 North Ridge Road, Amherst.
