He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Elicia Wooley; his siblings, Delbert Rader, Melvin Rader, Irene Trott, Doris Lauer and Ruthie Evelyn; and his parents, Albert F. Rader and Ruth E. Rader.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene Rader; his children, Ronald Rader (Kathleen) of Elyria, Renee Wooley of Grafton and Rhonda Eye (David) of Pittsfield Township; and his grandchildren, Melissa Kline (Jeremy), Sarah Rader-Urig (Tom), Nicolas Rader (Stephanie), Nathaniel Wooley (Cristina) and Rachelle Brooks (Joshua).

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
