George J. Ropchock Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George J. Ropchock Sr. of Amherst, Ohio, born in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ropchock and Mary Ropchock; and his brother Frank Ropchock. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Deborah McCullough (Mark), George J. Ropchock Jr., Doreen Bailey (Paul), Timothy Ropchock and Dawn Burke (Jonas); and his siblings, Jack, James, Terry Ropchock and Darlene Laney. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in George's name to the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System, Attn: Development & Civic Engagement Office, 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106.
