It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Gessner of Amherst, Ohio, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gessner and Emily Gessner; his sister Christine Feldkamp; and his brother-in-law Ed Valerius. He is survived by: his wife Gail Gessner of Amherst; his children, Matthew Gessner (Elizabeth) of Elyria, Kim Dobbins (Mel) of Amherst, Kari Raack (Justin) of Sheffield Lake and Jonathan Gessner (Adrianne) of Las Vegas, NV; his grandchildren, Emerson Dobbins, Gavin Dobbins, Nolan Raack, Kendal Dobbins, Amelia Raack and Landrie Gessner; and his siblings, Chuck Gessner (Judy) of Hoggenville, KY and Diane Valerius of Vermilion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
