With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Tate of Amherst, Ohio, born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 28, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Stirling Tate and Emery Tate; and his parents, Roland Tate and Stella Pearl Tate. He is survived by: his children, Troy Tate of Amherst and Michelle Tate of Amherst; his granddaughter Alexa Bowens of Amherst; his siblings, Barry Tate of Lorain, Roland Tate (Delores) of Olmsted Falls, Carol Moore (John) of Fairmont, WV, Nancy Sabo (Chris) of Avon and Patricia Bedocs of Orlando, FL; his close friend Mary Nardozzi of Lorain; and the mother of his children Marilyn Lang of Amherst.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Disable Vets or the Wounded Warriors.
