He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Joy and Lydia Joy; his wife Esther; and his siblings, Helen, Mabel, Opal and Raymond.
He is survived by: his sons, Don (Jean) of Lorain and Ray (Pat) of Vermilion; and his grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, April, Selina, Carly, Amanda and Ryan. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Don's name to the Salvation Army.
