In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Crystal had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Crystal may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her father Sherman Lawhorn; her brother Michael Lawhorn; and her nephew Seth Lawhorn. She is survived by: her husband Patrick Hughes; her mother Betty Lawhorn; and her sisters, Kathy Nolan, Michelle Blalock (Robert), Sandra Everett (Thomas) and Pam Lawhorn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made directly to the family for funeral expenses.
