She was predeceased by : her husband Dewey Cook Sr.; her son Dewey Cook Jr.; her sister Diana Sue Kenny; and her parents, Robert Santrock and Lura Santrock.

She is survived by : her brothers, Charles Santrock of West Virginia and David Burgess of West Virginia; her sons, James Cook (Amy) of Lorain and Joe Cook (Sally) of Amherst; and her grandchildren, Joshua Cook (Caitlin), James Cook, Jesse Cook, Anthony Cook (Kimmi), Hannah Cook, Chris Cook, Jonathan Cook (Kaitlyn) and Jerrod Cook. She is also survived by her many great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105-3678, or to the American Parkinson Disease Association at PO Box 61420 Staten Island, NY 10306.
