He was predeceased by: his wife Billie Jean Firestone; and his parents, Francis Firestone and Loretta Firestone. He is survived by: his children, Carl E. Firestone, Jr. (Cathie) of Winter Gardens, Patricia Kurtz (Robert) of Lorain, Barbara Shaffer (Arthur) of Amherst, Pamela Terschak (Dale) of Vermilion and Nancy Lurry (Dennis) of Lorain. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
