He was predeceased by: his grandson Caleb James. He is survived by: his wife Alexandria "Sandy" Meade; his daughters, Susan Wickes (Scottie), Dawn Parker (Jim) and Victoria James (Kevin Duray); and his sisters, Cathy Zerby and Dorothy Sinnott. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
