With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara A. Metelsky of Amherst, Ohio, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on January 9, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George; her parents, Earnest Core and Freda Core; and her brothers, Earnie and Jack.

She is survived by: her sons, Dan Metelsky (Bonni) and Greg Metelsky; her grandchildren, Liz, Danny, Kristen and Cory; and her great grandchild Jaxon.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Friends of the Lorain Public Library, 351 W 6th St, Lorain, OH 44052.
